We breathe over 23,000 times a day without awareness or intention. Our breath is medicine and it is free! I believe that once we slow down and consciously connect to our breath, our life will begin to change. I am always shocked when someone says, “What is Breathwork?” Transformative Breathwork is an active form of meditation. You don’t have to sit in a chair and tell someone your life story or repeat it once a week for 20 years to experience peace, love, and joy. Our breath can reduce inflammation, alkalize our body, quiet our busy mind, and release our deepest and darkest emotions. I live in Los Angeles, California where the weather never disappoints, and the beach is a short drive away. My latest obsession is "Breathing" on the beach and then taking a cold plunge in the ocean. The freezing cold water can be very scary to many people, but it awakens our vascular system, decreases our heart rate, and guides us to life filled with energy and peace. Breathwork not only helps us lean into our fears while making us stronger and healthier, it is the gateway to understanding our true nature.
